Hi guys and girls long time no see 🙄 but I have a treat for you we have another warlord in our ranks now who will be posting as well so we should get up and running properly again soon (fingers crossed)
Nether the less today we will have a little showcase of a commission I have been working on for a few weeks a howle lode of men of gondor, a rather large job but very enjoyable as I sat there listing to Lord of the rings (yet again)
I had to do a few repairs because the modles I was given to paint a few were damaged and the customer wanted them doing up and giving a whole new lease of life for them to play the game saga by towmahawk studio (one of my favourite games curantly) using some custom battle boards by tabletopdeutschland who has some very nice battle boards for Lord of the rings factons, moving on you'll want to see the minis here you go.
Starting with a big pic to show the scope of the army of getting on for 100 men making up 8 units of worriores and 2 units of herthguard and the warlord (a very formidable force indeed)
Now for the warlord they had no moddle that would fit properly so I decided to do a little converting with my bits box and just took his head off and swapped it with a nice head I found in my bits box I think it is from the dark age worriores set by gripping beast but don't quite me on that.
It was an easy conversation without any real complete and I also ended up making the flag bearer out of a bowman and a metal spear I had hanging around.
